SUMMARY:2025 Cannonball Reunion
DESCRIPTION:October 12\, 2025 @ Cars & Coffee Darien\nWhen Speed Limits Were Suggestions and America Still Had Balls \nJoin us for the annual gathering of automotive outlaws at the sacred launching grounds of the final Cannonball Baker Sea-to-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash. This year’s reunion promises to be our most spectacular celebration yet of the magnificent\, completely illegal legacy that proved good drivers in good automobiles could traverse America faster than any government bureaucrat ever imagined. \nEVENT DETAILS \nThe main event begins at our hallowed Darien location. Early arrivals welcome—true automotive anarchists have been known to appear the night before. There will be a DJ and music\, a live memorabilia auction\, a Q&A with some of the original race participants and both of Brock Yates’ Cannonball Dodge Challengers. \n\n6:00 am – Gates open for invited guests\n7:00 am – Gates open for public / spectators\n8:00 am – Judging starts\nNEW 9:00 am to 10:00 am – Public Q&A Session\n10:00 am – Judging ends / Live Auction starts\n10:30 am – Award Winners Announced\n11:00 am – Event Ends\n\nAmong the Cannonball notables who will be attending: \n\nBrock Yates Jr who\, at the age of 14\, participated in Cannonball #1 with his father\, Steve Smith and Jim Williams in the famous “Moon Trash One” Dodge Sportsman van.\nLady Pamela Yates who played the part of the patient being transported in the ambulance in Cannonball #3\nJudy Stropus\, also from Cannonball #3\, who was the inspiration for Adrienne Barbeau’s character in the movie Cannonball Run\nDennis “Mad Dog” Menescini who drove his 1979 Chevrolet Silverado pickup up the embankment behind Goodwives and through a fence onto I-95 in Cannonball #5\nChuck Schmitt\, John Harrison from Cannonball #5 in 1979\nWendy Epstein\, the first woman to complete any Cannonball on a motorcycle will be coming and she will be displaying her motorcycle\nAlex Roy who broke the record in 2006 and who set the Full Self Driving record in 2025\nJeff Popick and his daughter\, Alexis who became the first father / daughter team to complete the run earlier in 2025\nAndre Morgan who was one of the Producers on all the Cannonball Run movies\n\nThis gathering celebrates more than automotive history—it honors the spirit of American freedom\, the courage to challenge authority\, and the belief that some roads are meant to be traveled at speeds that would make safety commissioners weep. \nReserve your spot among the automotive faithful. Because some traditions are worth preserving\, even when they’re completely illegal. \n\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n \n	\n \n \n \n	\n \n Noroton Heights\, US\n \n \n \n \n \n 10:45 pm\, \n \n Apr 3\, 2026\n \n \n \n	\n\n\n \n \n \n	\n \n \n \n 53°F \n \n \n	\n \n \n L: 51° | \n \n H: 58° \n \n	\n\n	\n \n Feels like 52°F° \n	\n overcast clouds	\n	\n \n \n	\n \n \n \n \n Humidity:\n \n \n 89 % \n \n \n \n \n \n Pressure:\n \n \n 1020 mb \n \n \n \n \n \n Wind:\n \n \n 2 mph \n SW\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Wind Gust:\n \n \n 5 mph \n \n \n \n \n \n UV Index:\n \n 0\n \n \n \n \n \n Precipitation:\n \n 0 mm\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Rain Chance:\n \n 0%\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Visibility:\n \n 6 mi\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Sunrise:\n \n 6:33 am\n \n \n \n \n Sunset:\n \n 7:20 pm\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n Temperature \n \n Precipitation \n \n Rain Chance \n \n Wind \n \n Humidity \n \n Pressure \n \n	\n\n\n \n Tomorrow\n \n \n \n \n \n 51° / 58°°F \n \n 0 mm \n \n 0% \n \n 15 mph \n \n 95 % \n \n 1024 mb \n \n 0 mm/h \n \n \n\n \n\n \n Sunday\n \n \n \n \n \n 42° / 57°°F \n \n 1 mm \n \n 100% \n \n 16 mph \n \n 99 % \n \n 1025 mb \n \n 0 mm/h \n \n \n\n \n\n \n Monday\n \n \n \n \n \n 39° / 51°°F \n \n 0.8 mm \n \n 80% \n \n 16 mph \n \n 75 % \n \n 1016 mb \n \n 0 mm/h \n \n \n\n \n\n \n Tuesday\n \n \n \n \n \n 40° / 48°°F \n \n 0.2 mm \n \n 20% \n \n 21 mph \n \n 71 % \n \n 1024 mb \n \n 0 mm/h \n \n \n\n \n\n \n Wednesday\n \n \n \n \n \n 30° / 43°°F \n \n 0 mm \n \n 0% \n \n 18 mph \n \n 51 % \n \n 1039 mb \n \n 0 mm/h \n \n \n\n \n \n \n\n	\n\n \n Weather from OpenWeatherMap \n\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n\nSeason Sponsors\n \nEvent Sponsor
