A Unique Sponsorship Opportunity for Your Business
Get ready for season 2 of Cars and Coffee Darien.
Goodwives Shopping Center, specifically the Lock, Stock, and Barrel Restaurant, was the starting point for the last official Cannonball Baker Sea-to-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash – the real-life cross-country race that inspired four Hollywood movies including two that starred Burt Reynolds. Goodwives Shopping Center was also the starting point for the first Brock Yates’ One Lap of America race – the successor to the Cannonball.
In other words, it’s the perfect spot for Enthusiasts to share their passion for all things automotive.
Cars and Coffee Darien is the only regularly-scheduled full-season event of its type in Fairfield County. It is also the only cars and coffee in the entire United States with any connection to the Cannonball race. Last year (our first), our smallest crowd was 85 cars. Our largest event – the end of season Cannonball plaque dedication – had over 225 cars and between 600-700 spectators of all ages. Spectators literally came from all over the US, the UK and Germany for the event.
As with our 2023 season, all 2024 gatherings will take place on the second Sunday of the month. New this year:
- Expanded Season – we will be starting earlier, on April 14th, and ending later, on November 10th.
- Expanded Capacity – Regency Centers, the owners of Goodwives Shopping Center, have allocated a larger area for us this year that will allow us to accommodate at least 300 exhibitor cars.
- Expanded Opportunities – Each event this year will have a specific theme. We will be awarding trophies (which can be sponsored) for each event as well as trophies for the entire season.
For 2024, there are three Sponsor packages available. Details are below. Sponsor booths will be given prominent positions near the entrance, immediately adjacent to the check-in area. Trailer and truck parking is available.
